At Drape Theory Studios, we believe a saree is more than what you wear. It is how you carry a moment.

A saree remembers. The silk your mother wore to a wedding, the cotton that saw you through a summer of work, the georgette that moved with you on a festival night. We started Drape Theory in Hyderabad to bring that feeling to a new generation of women, with sarees that honour tradition and still feel like today.

Every saree in our collection is chosen by hand for its fabric, its finish and how it falls when you wear it. We look closely at the weave, the border and the pallu, and we name each fabric honestly, so a georgette is called georgette and a blend is called a blend.

We are a small team of three partners. We photograph our sarees in natural light, answer every WhatsApp message ourselves and inspect every saree before it leaves us. When you buy from us, you are buying from people who love sarees as much as you do.
